Account Access Help Needed ASAP

a family member has been unable to access her account for over a month because she does not remember her password at all; she tried resetting a new password several times but it has not worked.

What to do?
Can we un-register her and then re-register (this time she'll write her password somewhere) ?  how to do that?

thanks for the reply.

She has done that several times but it never works - every time it says that the e-mail address is associated with another password and it does not let her change her password.
