This is much heavier and less intuitive to use than an iPad and cannot compete against an iPad for comfort and convenience.  It is however far more powerful.  It can be used with a BT mouse and keyboard and I will include these, but they do rather miss the point since the tablet is designed to use the on-screen keyboard and the pen.  This is a niche product that I would say it is not very suitable for school use - there is far more support & expertise available for conventional notebooks.
