I lost my rent deposit last month when I moved out of my flat in Greens. I rented the flat through Kingsland Property Consultants, and the agents there told me pets were allowed. But my landlord said he had informed the agents not to bring him tenants with pets, but the agents lied to me. As a result, the landlord said my dog had caused some damages in the furniture and therefore, he took 75% out of my two months deposit as a penalty. The agents should have told me pets not allowed when we sign the contract.
