Got a mail saying I won some free gift points. So I clicked on the link and a new window opened on the browser. But when I saw the page, I knew it's a ransomware. Then I clicked on the address bar and found the page was not secured. I immediately closed the browser and deleted the history & cookies.

So I think I should upgrade my cybersecurity measures, since these days cyber attacks are increasing. After this incident, I realized that the shitty antivirus in my system is useless. However, I don't know how I can improve the security of my system.

I'm thinking about visiting a nearby cyber-security solution so that I can make sure the important data on my computer will be safe from malware, ransomware etc. Please share your opinions and suggestions on this.
