Hi looking to share cab to kowloon bay or close by area -  daily in mornings from north plaza. Wld prob need to leave by 7.30 north plaza... will cost hk$180 min.

$180 seems a bit too cheap. Online taxi calculator says DB to Kowloon Bay is approx. $280 which is $56 between 5 passengers.

It's only $26.90 total for one trip by DB03R bus ($10) + MTR ($16.90).
