	By now you will have all heard about the Town Planning Board's decision to turn town HKR's application to have Area 6f (on the hillside behind Parkvale Village) re-designated as "Residential" with the intention of building a massive twin-tower block of some 450 flats. If you didn't see the official announcement, a copy of a section of it appears below:

	HK resort has relaunched this application. As usual no transparency. No soft copies provided so only chance to understand what info they have provided is to physical go to the Planning Enquiry Center in North Point or Shatin and inspect the record. Only in Hong Kong. 	To those not aware - the TPB approved HKRI’s suggested change of status to residential area so likely that parkvale will be one big construction site starting in 2023 and the green area towards the stairs up the hiking trail to be gone sooner rather than later.
