Is the playground on the beach being renovated / replaced / removed? I gather that it has gone.

I understand from reading the notices attached to the "fencing" surrounding the area,that the play area is going to be equipped with new equipment.

I get the impression they're changing all the playgrounds except for Upper Caperidge which has just been cordoned off with tape for months.

They are not changing all the playgrounds. Most of the playgrounds are under the control of the local VOCs who have to provide the budget for the equipment and maintenance. No idea who overseas the beach playground

Thank you.

Peninsula village playground is getting a new feature also. We are not sure when though or whether the cordoning tape is due to that or the dangerous surface.
