Dog euthanasia advice

Dear all,
Sadly, our elderly family dog, aged 16, has reached the point where any quality of life that he used to enjoy is in the past. After a long period of consideration we have decided that it would be cruel to wait any longer.
Could anyone advice what the procedure is to have a vet perform dog euthanasia in DB? What options are there?
Thanks in advance.

Quite common in HK but as anything it can range in price depending what and how you want to do it.
Same as two legged funerals , can range from a few thousands to several millions.
Our friends had to say good bye to their four legged pal some months ago. They took him/her to the vets and received a bag of ashes next day, still hot plus a HKD2,500 bill.
