Could you clarify, will the comments made on the previous version still be considered by the Town Planning Board, or do we have to submit them again?

I believe new comments are needed. That's also why HKR postponed their application several times to discourage negative comments.

There are posters in the building lobbies, but they are not very clear are they?
Here is a more scary poster that might get people to send in letters: can folks help print and put them up on the posters in their buildings? links to instructions and sample objection letter from Amy Yung.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxIUgu70aEStNXpTVHdfZkh5ZWs

Also: Couldn't we have a copy of Amy's letter in each building lobby for the next few days, and have a sheet to get folks to sign it when they go past / getting home in the evenings, and submit that in as a mass submission? surely we can get more names this way?
Probably will seem more legit than DB's army of ghost writers.

Distributing information at the Ferry terminal in Central would be an effective way to organise objections to the proposed developments.

Considering how many professionals from advertising, marketing,PR etc live in DB, I think it shouldn't be too difficult to organise against HKRI.

How about buying a few thousand fridge magnets with 'I 'heart' DB , say no to monster towers ' etc, etc & handing them out at the terminal for a week during busy times. I'd be happy to chip in a few hundred dollars for this.

HK Resorts may own the development rights but they don't own the community. That's ours & we can choose to organise against the things we don't approve of.

Seems this has reared it's head again - HKRI keep submitting applications and then withdrawing them, probably hoping everybody gets bored and stops submitting negative comments.

Please take the time to keep making noise on this if you don't want these monstrosities built.

Last day today for comments for the 5th (HKRI is really applying the endurance test on this one) round for the application to build two towers in Parkvale.

Planning department already says they do not support the application in a 24 page dissection of the application

To make comments click here and click on 'make a comment'

I guess planning department's points are as valid as any, but feel free to make your own or pick'n'mix from this

I started a new topic about it. Actually from satellite view I can see at least four construction developments which are ongoing but seemingly zero information available to the public.

Not only am I concerned with the amount of construction work and the added "issues" such as increased building vehicles, and at least another 476 flats, what about the schools and facilities in DB, the buses are already over crowded and at times do not feel safe, there is already waiting lists for the schools. There is nothing "free" for children beyond play parks.

I know, it's going to get way over crowded.
