Posting photos on DB Forum

If you want to include photos with your ad, do the following.

First you need to upload your photos (in .jpg format) to a photo storage website. Flickr is as good as any but you can also use others such as Photobucket etc…

1. Go to:  http://www.flickr.com   and register as a user.

2. Upload your photos to Flickr.

3. Go to “You” on the Flickr menu and choose “Photostream”. You will see all the photos you uploaded.

4. Click on the photo you want to upload to the DB Forum. You will see a larger image of the photo and at the bottom of the photo you will see this icon:



5. Click on this icon and a new window pops up.

6. Select “Grab the HTML/BBCode”  (n.b. Make sure you are viewing the "original" image).

7. Copy and paste the code provided into your posting on the DB Forum.

That’s it.

If you prefer not to have the photo text and your name displayed, simply delete the last two lines of the code and only the photo will be displayed.

Yes that's really handy.  However I have been stopped from inserting a URL since I haven't made three posts yet!

So here's one for the record - I think I have done 3 posts in the past but maybe subsequently deleted them once things been resolved. anyway, 1 out of three done now
