Last night, somewhere between the Circle K at pier 3 and arriving home, I found that I had lost my wallet (including my door key!!). I quickly retraced my steps, checked at the bus and ferry offices, but to no avail  Good friends offered me supper and I soon managed to get a key from our p/t helper (yes, I know ...)

Imagine my delight then when I got off the ferry this morning and found that my wallet had been handed in at the pier 3 ticket office (and of course everything was inside)!!

To the anonymous and kind-heated person who found and handed my wallet in, a BIG, BIG THANK YOU We hear so many negative stories these days, but it's so heart-warming to be reminded that there are many good, honest people in our community who just do the right and decent thing.

We see so many posts in Lost and Found that are never followed up and hence it's easy to believe we live in a community of light-fingered thieves.
